Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have struggled to build any momentum as they’ve split their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting thrashed by the Nets in a 124-107 loss on Friday. Dejounte Murray led the team with 21 points and five assists on nine of 15 shooting, Saddiq Bey added 16 points while Onyeka Okongwu chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds and two blocks off the bench. As a team, the Hawks shot just 42 percent from the field and eight of 37 from the 3-point line as they looked to be off to a quick start when they poured in 33 points in the first quarter, only to get dominated and outplayed in the second and third quarters where they allowed 76 points combined to trail by as many as 23 points in this one. Trae Young had a rough game as he finished with just 10 points on three of 12 shooting from the field and zero of six shooting from the 3-point line.
