The Chicago Bulls invade the Wells Fargo Center to do battle with the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
The Chicago Bulls have been in pretty good shape lately as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Heat in a 113-99 win on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 24 points and 10 assists on 10 of 15 shooting, Zach LaVine and Coby White scored 18 points each while Patrick Beverley chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 56 percent from the field and 17 of 34 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 70 points in the first half to take a 25-point lead into halftime which allowed them to cruise the rest of the way almost unchallenged.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been on a tear lately as they’ve won nine of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to build on their current eight-game win streak after routing the Pacers in a 141-121 road win on Saturday. Joel Embiid led the team with 31 points, seven rebounds and seven assists on 10 of 15 shooting, Tyrese Maxey added 31 points with seven assists on 12 of 18 shooting, Tobias Harris scored 24 points while De’Anthony Melton chipped in with 14 points, five assists and six steals. As a team, the 76ers shot a sizzling 61 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter and they just never took their foot off the gas, scoring at least 34 points in every quarter to win comfortably.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The 76ers are 22-9 ATS in their last 31 home games, 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.

The Bulls have sprung to life with four wins in their past five games and they would love to keep it going with a big upset over the 76ers. However, the 76ers are just running through teams at the moment and they are 22-9 ATS in their last 31 home games. The Bulls are only 1-8 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the 76ers stay hot with another win and cover at home.
