The Memphis Grizzlies invade the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after outlasting the Mavericks in a 112-108 win on Saturday. Desmond Bane led the team with 25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, David Roddy added 24 points on 10 of 13 shooting off the bench while Tyus Jones chipped in with 11 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 47 percent from the field and 10 of 38 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they scored just 21 points in the third quarter to fall behind by 11 points, but in typical Grizzlies fashion, they exploded for 35 points in the fourth quarter to pull off the unlikely victory.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last seven games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling just short to the Grizzlies on Saturday. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the team with 23 points, Jaden Hardy added 22 points while Jalen Green chipped in with 21 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 45 percent from the field and 15 of 43 from the 3-point line as they poured in 33 points in the third quarter to take an 11-point lead, but they let the Grizzlies hang around and it cost them in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a win. The Mavericks are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600 and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

The Grizzlies have continued to win games despite missing some key players and they will be full of confidence after taking down the Mavericks on Saturday. It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in a row in their own building, but the Mavericks are still severely depleted, so I’m expecting a similar result in this one.
