The Philadelphia 76ers invade the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
The Philadelphia 76ers have been in fine form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the surging Bucks in a 133-130 road win on Saturday. James Harden led the team with 38 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists, Joel Embiid added 31 points with 10 assists while Tyrese Maxey chipped in with 26 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 50 percent from the field and 18 of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the Bucks and fell behind by 18 points, before they exploded for a season-high 48 points in the fourth quarter to pull off their best win of the season.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been on a nice run as they’ve won four of their last six games and they will be looking to keep it going after beating the Bulls in a 125-122 road win last night. Tyrese Haliburton led the team with 29 points and 11 assists, Bennedict Mathurin added 17 points off the bench while Myles Turner chipped in with 16 points on eight of 13 shooting. As a team, the Pacers shot 51 percent from the field and 16 of 44 from the 3-point line as they poured in 37 points in the second quarter to take a 10-point lead, before they closed the final 4:30 on a 17-11 run to escape with the narrow win in the end.
Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Pacers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the 76ers are 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Indiana and the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall.
The 76ers could be shorthanded for this one as PJ Tucker and Tobias Harris are both questionable, while the Pacers have ruled out Aaron Nesmith for this one. The 76ers needed a win to get back on track after a bit of a lull and they got that with an incredible comeback victory over the surging Bucks, so they will be full of confidence coming into this one. The Pacers have actually shown signs of improvement lately, but they are playing on zero days’ rest, so I’ll stick with the 76ers to take care of business here.
