The Cleveland Cavaliers invade the TD Garden to do battle with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after making light work of the Raptors in a 118-93 home win on Sunday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 35 points on 13 of 21 shooting, Jarrett Allen added 23 points with 11 rebounds on 10 of 13 shooting while Evan Mobley and Darius Garland each scored 18 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 52 percent from the field and 18 of 36 from the 3-point line as they caught fire from behind the arc right away and outpaced the Raptors in every quarter to earn the big win and snap a three-game skid.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in red-hot form as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back here after having their three-game win streak halted by the Knicks in a 109-94 road loss on Monday. Malcolm Brogdon led the team with 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting off the bench, Marcus Smart added 19 points while Jayson Tatum chipped in with just 14 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 42 from the 3-point line, but they got off to a terrible start and scored just 15 points in the first quarter which had them trailing the Knicks the entire contest. Tatum had himself a quiet game of just 14 points on six of 18 shooting before getting ejected after receiving a second technical foul.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on two days rest, 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record, 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in Boston and the Cavaliers are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Boston.

The Cavaliers have been in strong form and they are coming into this meeting without a single player listed on the injury report, while the Celtics are keeping an eye on Mike Muscala who is questionable. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Cavaliers have a full squad and they should be well-rested as they haven’t played since Sunday. This will be a close one, but I’ll side with the Cavaliers to escape with the win here.
