The Chicago Bulls travel to the Amway Center to take on the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in rough shape as they’ve lost five of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Hornets in a 111-96 road loss on Thursday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 28 points and five assists, Zach LaVine added 18 points while Patrick Williams chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Bulls shot just 40 percent from the field and four of 25 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control when they led by 10 points in the first half, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and scored just 41 points in the second half to allow the Hornets to beat them handily in the end.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting stopped by the Heat in a 110-105 road loss last night. Paolo Banchero, Cole Anthony and Franz Wagner each scored 19 points while Wendell Carter Jr chipped in with 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Magic shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 34 from the 3-point line as they got the better of the Heat in the first half to lead for most of the game, only to allow the Heat to explode for 37 points in the fourth quarter to allow them off the hook in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team below .400 and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record. The Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 18-6 ATS in their last 24 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 36-16 in the last 52 meetings overall and the under is 22-6 in the last 28 meetings in Orlando.

The Bulls are still a little shorthanded, but they should have Goran Dragic back in the lineup, while the Magic are still without Jonathan Isaac and Chuma Okeke. The Bulls have been in a slump and their confidence took a real hit after getting blown out by the lowly Hornets in their last outing, while the Magic have been playing some decent basketball and they almost took down the Heat last night. It’s tough to play on zero days rest, but the Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and I think that trend continues as the Magic get the win at home.
