The Milwaukee Bucks and the Detroit Pistons duke it out at Little Caesars Arena on Monday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in decent shape as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting stopped by the Cavaliers in a 114-102 road loss on Saturday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 28 points and 10 assists, Bobby Portis added 23 points with 11 rebounds on nine of 16 shooting while Pat Connaughton chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they did their best to keep pace with the Cavaliers for most of the contest, until the fourth quarter where they managed just 21 points to allow the Cavaliers to pull away in the end.
Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in a real funk as they’ve lost six of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting routed by the Bulls in a 126-108 home loss on Thursday. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 25 points, Hamidou Diallo added 17 points on seven of eight shooting off the bench while Saddiq Bey and Jaden Ivey each scored 16 points. As a team, the Pistons shot just 40 percent from the field and eight of 34 from the 3-point line, but they were always playing from behind in this one after allowing the Bulls to get off to a flyer with 65 points in the first half. Alec Burks had a rough game as he finished with just six points on one of eight shooting, Killian Hayes scored just four points on two of 13 shooting while Isaiah Stewart chipped in with seven points on one of 10 shooting.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400. The Pistons are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall.
Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall, the Bucks are 15-5-2 ATS in the last 22 meetings overall and the Bucks are 7-1-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Detroit.
The Bucks should have Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton back in the lineup which is a major boost to the Bucks, while the Pistons have ruled out Isaiah Stewart and they have listed Killian Hayes as questionable. The Bucks have been well below their best lately as they’ve had to play without their leader, Antetokounmpo, but the Bucks should be back to full health and that spells trouble for the Pistons who are missing a couple players. The Bucks are 7-1-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Detroit and I think that trend continues here.
