The Toronto Raptors pay a visit to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.
The Toronto Raptors have been in rough shape as they’ve lost six of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up short against the Hawks in a 114-103 loss on Saturday. Scottie Barnes led the team with 27 points with 12 rebounds, Pascal Siakam added 15 points with seven rebounds and six assists while OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa each scored 14 points. As a team, the Raptors shot just 41 percent from the field and seven of 29 from the 3-point line, but they weren’t focused on the defensive end and were always trailing in this one after allowing the Hawks to explode for 69 points in the first half to fall behind by as many as 18 points.
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their past eight games overall and they will be aiming for a fourth straight victory after routing the Pistons in a 117-104 road win last night. Julius Randle led the team with 42 points, 15 rebounds and four assists, Jalen Brunson added 27 points on nine of 17 shooting while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 17 points off the bench. As a team, the Knicks shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Pistons with 39 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before they pulled away in the second half to keep their win streak alive.
Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record. The Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games, 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games playing on zero days’ rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.

The Raptors have struggled to build any consistency this season and their confidence took another hit after getting routed by the Hawks on Saturday. The Knicks have flying under the radar a bit lately as they’ve started to heat up with seven wins in their last eight games and they looked good in last night’s win over the Pistons. It's always tough to play the second game of a back to back set, but the Knicks have clearly been the team in better form and I think they keep the good times rolling with another win and cover here.
