The Golden State Warriors travel to the United Center to take on the Chicago Bulls on Sunday afternoon in NBA action.
The Golden State Warriors have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after putting a halt to a three-game skid with a 144-113 road win over the Spurs on Friday. Jordan Poole led the team with 25 points and six assists off the bench, Donte DiVincenzo added 22 points with seven rebounds and five assists while Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson each scored 16 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 54 percent from the field and 18 of 48 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Spurs and poured in 41 points in the second quarter to take a double-digit lead which only grew in the second half where they scored another 70 points.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost five of their last eight games and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting shocked by the Thunder in a 124-110 loss on Friday. Zach LaVine led the team with 25 points with six rebounds and five assists, Nikola Vucevic and Coby White each scored 19 points while Patrick Williams chipped in with 18 points on six of 11 shooting. As a team, the Bulls shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to claw their way back from a 14-point halftime deficit, only to get blown away in the fourth quarter where they scored just 20 points. Ayo Dosunmu had a night to forget as he finished with just two points on zero of five shooting.
Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 road games, 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win of more than 10 points and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a win. The Bulls are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six home games, 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall and the Warriors are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.
The Warriors are missing a few players once again as Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman and Andre Iguodala are all out, while the Bulls have listed DeMar DeRozan and Tony Bradley as questionable for this one. The Warriors have been one of the worst road teams all season, but they’ve got all their key players back and they looked great in their big win over the Spurs in their last outing. The Bulls have been in a struggle lately and they could be missing their leading scorer in DeRozan for this one, so I’ll take the Warriors at the short line in this spot.
