The Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers meet once again at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday night.
The Chicago Bulls have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after falling just short to the Cavaliers in a 103-102 loss on Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 21 points, Ayo Dosunmu added 19 points with five steals while Zach LaVine chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and seven of 21 from the 3-point line as they trailed for most of the contest after leaking 32 points in the second quarter, which cost them in a tight finish as they cut an eight-point deficit to just one point before time ran out.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great form as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after sneaking past the Bulls on Saturday. Caris LeVert led the team with 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Kevin Love added 20 points with nine rebounds while Donovan Mitchell chipped in with 15 points, six assists and four steals. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they took control with 32 points in the second quarter to build a 14-point lead which proved to be just enough in a tight finish.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Cavaliers are 15-6-1 ATS in their last 22 home games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a win and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Bulls are 34-16-1 ATS in the last 51 meetings overall and the Bulls are 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings in Cleveland.
The Bulls are keeping eyes on Javonte Green and Alex Caruso who are both day to day, while the Cavaliers have ruled out Darius Garland and they have listed Evan Mobley as questionable. The Bulls will be out for revenge after falling just short to the Cavaliers on Saturday, but they will need to get off to a better start to avoid trailing for most of the game again. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Bulls are 21-7 ATS in the last 28 meetings in Cleveland and I think they bounce back with a narrow win here.
