The Chicago Bulls play host to the Detroit Pistons at the United Center on Friday night.

The Detroit Pistons have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their last 11 games overall, but they will be looking to build some momentum in this one after having their six-game losing streak halted with a 121-101 win over the Magic on Wednesday. Alec Burks shot six of seven from the 3-point line to lead the team with 32 points off the bench, Saddiq Bey added 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in with 14 points and five assists. As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 42 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates and always looked in control after exploding for 39 points in the second quarter to build an early 25-point lead.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls are starting to heat up now as they’ve won four of their last five games and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the Bucks in a 119-113 overtime home win on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 42 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Zach LaVine added 24 points while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 15 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 22 from the 3-point line as they clawed their way back from a 15-point deficit to force overtime where they held the Bucks to just seven points to escape with the gritty win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Pistons are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Bulls are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the under is 8-0 in the last eight meetings overall, the Pistons are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings in Chicago and the Pistons are 1-10 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall.

The Pistons are shorthanded again as Hamidou Diallo and Killian Hayes are both out while Marvin Bagley is questionable with an illness. The Bulls have their own issues as Derrick Jones Jr, Patrick Williams and Coby White are all questionable. The Pistons were able to snap a losing streak with a win on Wednesday, but I don’t see them winning against this Bulls team who have really picked things up with four wins in their last five outings. The Pistons are only 1-10 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall, so I’ll back the Bulls in this spot.
