The Indiana Pacers play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling short against the surging Nets in a 125-117 loss on Monday. Darius Garland led the team with 46 points and eight assists on 14 of 20 shooting, Donovan Mitchell added 15 points while Evan Mobley chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 47 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Nets from the start and were always fighting an uphill battle after leaking 65 points in the first half to trail by as many as 19 points before they rallied with 38 points in the fourth quarter to keep it to single digits.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their past four games and they will be looking to stay hot after routing the Hawks in a 129-114 home win on Tuesday. Buddy Hield led the team with 28 points and nine rebounds on 11 of 16 shooting, Tyrese Haliburton added 23 points with seven assists while Myles Turner and Benedict Mathurin each scored 18 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 51 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start behind some hot shooting from Hield and outpaced the Hawks from start to finish. Aaron Nesmith was the only blemish on a solid win as he finished with just three points on zero of six shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 road games and 4-1-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss. The Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings in Indiana and the Cavaliers are 4-1-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.

The Cavaliers are keeping an eye on Robin Lopez who is questionable, while the Pacers are currently sweating on the availability of Tyrese Haliburton who is questionable due to a right knee bruise. The Cavaliers were on a nice run before they got stopped by the red-hot Nets in their last game, but they could get lucky in this one as the Pacers aren’t nearly as dangerous without Haliburton in the lineup. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but I’ll stick with the Pacers to get the job done at home as the Cavaliers are only 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 road games.
