LeBron James led the team with 38 points, six rebounds and five assists, Russell Westbrook added 17 points with five rebounds and four assists while Austin Reaves chipped in with 16 points off the bench, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Lakers shot 48 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control after they kept the Mavericks to just 43 points in the first half to lead by as many as 14 points, but all their hard work went down the drain in a nightmare of a third quarter where they got outscored by 51-21.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in great form as they’ve won eight of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after blowing past the Spurs in a 133-113 home win on Friday. Cole Anthony flirted with a triple-double as he racked up 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists off the bench, Franz Wagner added 21 points, Paolo Banchero scored 18 points while Moritz Wagner chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Magic shot 57 percent from the field and 17 of 32 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Spurs in a tightly contested first half, before they exploded for 39 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and make it a blowout.
