The New York Knicks pay a visit to the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Wednesday night.
The New York Knicks have been building nicely as they’ve won five of their last seven games and they will be eager to build on their four-game win streak after routing the Kings in a 112-99 home win on Sunday. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett led the way with 27 points each, Jalen Brunson added 18 points while Mitchell Robinson chipped in with 12 points on five of five shooting. As a team, the Knicks shot 44 percent from the field and eight of 35 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Kings from the start and never looked in trouble after outscoring them by 36-22 in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their past six games and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling painfully short to the Hawks in a 123-122 overtime road loss on Sunday. DeMar DeRozan led the way with 34 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, Zach LaVine added 21 points on nine of 16 shooting while Andre Drummond and Derrick Jones Jr. each scored 14 points. As a team, the Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and seven of 27 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to rally all the way back from a 12-point deficit to extend the game, only to come up just short in overtime as the Hawks stole the game at the buzzer.
Looking at the betting trends, the Knicks are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 road games, 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. The Bulls are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a winning road record.
Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall and the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Chicago.
The Knicks are again missing Ryan Arcidiacono and Obi Toppin while Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable. The Bulls are keeping an eye on Ayo Dosunmu who is questionable and Alex Caruso who is probable. The Knicks have really been in a groove over their past four games and I think they can take advantage of a struggling Bulls team coming off a tough overtime loss.
