The Dallas Mavericks Golden State Warriors meet Wednesday in game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the Chase Center. The Dallas Mavericks are coming off a seven-game series win over the Suns. The Golden State Warriors are coming off a six-game series win over the Grizzlies.

The Dallas Mavericks are shooting 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 77.9 percent from the free throw line. The Dallas Mavericks are allowing 33.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 36.9 rebounds per game.
The Golden State Warriors are averaging 114.2 points on 48.3 percent shooting and allowing 110.2 points on 44.3 percent shooting. Stephen Curry is averaging 26.9 points and 5.6 assists, while Klay Thompson is averaging 20.4 points and 4.5 rebounds. Jordan Poole is the third double-digit scorer and Andrew Wiggins is grabbing 6.9 rebounds. The Golden State Warriors are shooting 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and 74.1 percent from the free throw line. The Golden State Warriors are allowing 36.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.8 rebounds per game.
The Mavericks are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Conference Finals games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Warriors are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The under is 4-1 in Mavericks last 5 overall. The under is 12-5 in Warriors last 17 Wednesday games. The Mavericks are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Golden State and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.
The Golden State Warriors are going to get the benefit of the doubt at home, but these aren't the same Warriors from past years, and they have a knack for being sloppy with the ball which scares me. The Dallas Mavericks are coming off a massive upset over the Suns, and that should provide a great deal of confidence. The Mavs have been terrific defensively in these playoffs when they want to be, and Luka is the best player in this series, which gives them a fighting chance every night. Also, the Mavericks have won three of the four meetings against the Warriors in 2022 and have won eight of the last 10 meetings overall. The Mavs as underdogs have been kind to us these playoffs, and I see no reason to get off the bandwagon just yet.
