The Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls duke it out in Game 4 at the United Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be aiming for a commanding 3-1 series lead after making light work of the Bulls in a dominant 111-81 road win in Game 3 on Friday. Grayson Allen led the team in scoring with 22 points on eight of 12 shooting off the bench, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis each scored 18 points while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 16 points and six assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 41 from the 3-point line as they dominated right from the start and poured in 33 points in the first quarter to take the early double-digit lead which ballooned to 37 points in the third quarter to put the game to bed early.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls must have been full of confidence after they squared up the series in Game 2, but it’s back to the drawing board for them after getting destroyed on Friday. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 19 points on eight of 17 shooting, Zach LaVine added 15 points with five assists while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 11 points and four assists. As a team, the Bulls shot just 39 percent from the field and nine of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and managed just 17 points in the first quarter to fall behind big early and they just never found their offense. Coby White finished with just six points on two of nine shooting off the bench while Patrick Williams finished with just one point on zero of nine shooting.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 4-0 ATS in their last four games as a road favorite. The Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games, 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600 and 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games overall.
Head to head, the under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall, the Bucks are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the Bucks are 13-3 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Chicago.
The Bucks will be full of confidence after blowing past the Bulls in a pivotal Game 3 and they really flexed their depth as they were able to do it without Khris Middleton. The Bulls came out flat to start Game 3 and quickly found themselves in a deep hole and they’re going to suffer another big loss if they have another slow start. The Bucks are 13-3 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Chicago and the Bulls are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600, so I’ll stick with the Bucks to go up 3-1 in the series.
Peter’s Pick Milwaukee -4
