The Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans meet Thursday in NBA action at the Smoothie King Center. The Portland Trail Blazers look to snap an eight-game losing streak. The New Orleans Pelicans look for a win after winning six of their last nine games.

The Trail Blazers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Pelicans are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Thursday games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The under is 6-2 in Trail Blazers last 8 overall. The under is 5-1 in Pelicans last 6 overall. The Trail Blazers are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in New Orleans.
As Ive said time and time again, the Portland Trail Blazers are fielding the worst roster in the league and are getting rocked whenever they take the court. The Trail Blazers are losing their last five games by an average of 11.4 points, they lose on the road by an average of 11.3 points, and they lose in the underdog role by an average of 12.6 points. The New Orleans Pelicans aren't a team I'm thrilled to lay big chalk with and this is a lot of points to eat, but backing the Trail Blazers isn't much of an option these days. It's Pels or pass for me.
