The Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers duke it out at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday night.

The Chicago Bulls have been in rough shape as they’ve lost five of their last six games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Pelicans in a 126-109 road loss on Thursday. Zach LaVine led the team with 39 points on 12 of 23 shooting, Coby White added 23 points and six assists off the bench while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 51 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Pelicans in a close contest until the fourth quarter where the Pelicans exploded for 40 points to blow them away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in rough shape as they’ve lost six of their last nine games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Raptors in a 117-104 road loss on Thursday. Lauri Markkanen led the team with 20 points, Darius Garland added 18 points with 10 assists while Lamar Stevens chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a poor start and managed just 17 points in the first quarter to fall behind early and they just had no answer for the Raptors’ Pascal Siakam who torched them for a season-high 35 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Bulls are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 road games, 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record and 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Cavaliers are 11-27-1 ATS in their last 39 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Cleveland, the Bulls are 33-15 ATS in the last 48 meetings overall and the Bulls are 20-7 ATS in the last 27 meetings in Cleveland.

The Bulls have been dealing with injuries all season, but the good news is that Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan are both listed as probable for this one which is a major boost for the team. The Cavaliers are still missing Rajon Rondo, Dean Wade, Collin Sexton and Jarrett Allen. The Bulls haven’t been in good form, but they are so much more dangerous with DeRozan in the lineup, so I think they represent decent value as the underdogs in this spot. The Bulls are 20-7 ATS in the last 27 meetings in Cleveland and I think that trend continues here as the Bulls escape with the win.
