The Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Thursday night.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their past seven games, but they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Magic in a 130-109 road win on Wednesday. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the team with 23 points and six assists on nine of 13 shooting off the bench, Trae Young added 22 points with six assists while Kevin Huerter chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Hawks shot 50 percent from the field and 18 of 33 from the 3-point line as they dominated right from the start and poured in 72 points in the first half to take a 19-point lead going into halftime, before making another push in the third quarter to blow the lead out to 32 points at one stage.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in great form as they’ve won 10 of their past 14 games overall and they will be eager to build on their current five-game win streak after taking down the Kings in a 125-118 home win on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 38 points, six rebounds and six assists, Coby White added 31 points with six assists while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 50 percent from the field and 12 of 29 from the 3-point line as they rode the hot hand of DeRozan to take the lead in the first half, but they found themselves in a tight contest and couldn’t gain any separation until late in the fourth quarter where they used a decisive 11-2 run to pull away and escape with the narrow victory.

Looking at the betting trends, the Hawks are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games, 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games against a team above .600 and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Bulls are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games, 35-16-1 ATS in their last 52 games against a team with a losing record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings in Chicago.

The Hawks are going to be shorthanded in this one as John Collins and Gorgui Dieng are both out, while the Bulls will again be missing Alex Caruso, Lonzo Ball and Patrick Williams. The Hawks are more than capable of pulling off the minor upset, but they are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games, so with the short line, I prefer a play on the Bulls to stay hot behind another big game from DeRozan.
