The Phoenix Suns and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Monday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 12 of their past 13 games and they will be looking to satay hot after making light work of the Wizards in a 95-80 road win on Saturday. DeAndre Ayton led the team with 20 points and 16 rebounds, Chris Paul added 14 points with nine assists while Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson each scored 12 points. As a team, the Suns shot just 40 percent from the field and eight of 31 from the 3-point line as they dominated right from the start and held the Wizards to just 11 points in the second quarter to take a 27-point lead into halftime, before going on another run in the third quarter to push the margin out to 36 points.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their past eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the 76ers in a 119-108 home loss last night. DeMar DeRozan tried his best to carry the team as he led the way with 45 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, Nikola Vucevic added 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists while Javonte Green chipped in with 17 points on five of six shooting. As a team, the Bulls shot 48 percent from the field and seven of 26 from the 3-point line, but they were put on the back foot right from the start and were always trailing after the 76ers poured on 34 points in the first quarter. Matt Thomas had a night to forget as he finished with just five points on two of 10 shooting in 34 minutes off the bench.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven Monday games. The Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the Suns are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Chicago.

The Suns are coming into this game with the same lineup as Landry Shamet and Abdel Nader are both still out, while the Bulls will again be missing Lonzo Ball, Derrick Jones Jr and Alex Caruso while Coby White and Zach LaVine are both listed as day to day. The Suns have been on fire all season and they’re only growing in confidence after holding the Wizards to just 80 points in a road win on Saturday. The Bulls have cooled off a bit recently as the injuries have started to pile up and they will be playing on zero days’ rest after last night’s loss to the 76ers. The Bulls couldn’t get the job done despite 45 points from DeRozan last night and I think that’s going to be the story once again as the Suns’ depth should prove too much for the Bulls here.
