The Boston Celtics play host to the Sacramento Kings at the TD Garden on Tuesday night.

The Sacramento Kings have been in a major slump as they’ve lost eight of their past 10 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting stopped by the Bucks in a 133-127 road loss on Saturday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 29 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Tyrese Haliburton added 24 points with 12 assists while Terence Davis chipped in with 22 points. As a team, the Kings shot 52 percent from the field and 15 of 37 from the 3-point line as they poured in 35 points in the first quarter to take an early 12-point lead, but it didn’t last, and they were always playing from behind after getting outscored by 35-19 in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in decent shape as they’ve won six of their past nine games and they will be hoping to stay hot after blowing past the Wizards in a 116-87 road win on Sunday. Jayson Tatum led the team with a season-high 51 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Jaylen Brown added 18 points with 10 rebounds while Marcus Smart chipped in with 11 points with six assists and four steals. As a team, the Celtics shot 44 percent from the field and 19 of 39 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running and held the Wizards to just 20 points in the second quarter to take a 15-point lead at halftime, before running away with it in the second half as they rode the hot hand of Tatum.

Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games, 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on two days’ rest and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games against a team with a winning home record. The Celtics are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record and 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 games following a win of more than 10 points.

Head to head, the under is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings in Boston, the Kings are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Boston and the Kings are 5-0-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Kings could be shorthanded for this one as Damian Jones and De’Aaron Fox are both listed as questionable, while the Celtics are just about at full strength for this one. The Kings haven’t been able to build any momentum this season and they’re coming into this one ice-cold after falling short against the Bucks for their eighth loss in their last 10 games. The Celtics have started to turn things around and they will be full of confidence after Tatum’s 51-point performance on Sunday. The line is a little hefty, but I can’t trust the Kings in their current form, so I’m sticking with the Celtics to stay hot with another win and cover in this spot.
