The Milwaukee Bucks and the Orlando Magic duke it out at the Amway Center on Tuesday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their past nine games and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after sneaking past the Celtics in a 117-113 home win on Saturday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 36 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday scored 17 points each while Bobby Portis chipped in with 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half, before rallying in the second half where they exploded for 70 points to snatch the game late.
Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in terrible shape as they’ve lost nine of their past 11 games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting stopped by the Heat in a 93-83 road loss on Sunday. Gary Harris led the team with 20 points on seven of 11 shooting, Franz Wagner added 13 points while Hassani Gravett chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Magic shot 43 percent from the field and 10 of 32 from the 3-point line as they went ice-cold and scored just 15 points in the second quarter to trail at halftime, before allowing 30 points in the third quarter where they trailed by as many as 18 points.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games, 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games against a team with a losing record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing on two days’ rest. The Magic are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 home games and 6-16 ATS in their last 22 games following an ATS win.
Head to head, the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall, the Bucks are 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and the Bucks are 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Orlando.
The Magic will once again be shorthanded as they will be without Cole Anthony and Chuma Okeke, while the Bucks are coming into this one just about at full strength. The Bucks are coming into this game with plenty of winning momentum, so it’s no surprise that they’re massive favorites here and I think they should be too good in this spot.
