The Utah Jazz pay a visit to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.

The Utah Jazz have been in great form as they’ve won nine of their past 11 games and they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after routing the Timberwolves in a 136-104 road win last night. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 36 points on 14 of 23 shooting, Bojan Bogdanovic added 21 points while Jordan Clarkson drained six 3-pointers to finish with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot a sizzling 56 percent from the field and 25 of 54 from the 3-point line as they led by just one point at halftime, before exploding for 76 points in the second half to make it a complete blowout.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been building nicely as they’ve won four of their past five games and they will be eager to build on their current three-game win streak after sneaking past the Hornets in a 110-106 road win last night. Joel Embiid led the team with 32 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Seth Curry added 23 points with eight assists while Tobias Harris chipped in with 18 points, but no other player scored more than eight points. As a team, the 76ers shot 48 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they trailed for most of the game, until late in the fourth quarter where they used a decisive 10-3 run to pull away and escape with the hard-fought win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days’ rest and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. The 76ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days’ rest, 0-5 ATS in their last five home games and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings overall, the Jazz are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Philadelphia and the Jazz are 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings overall.

The Jazz have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league lately and they will be full of confidence after pouring in 136 points last night. The 76ers have come alive over their past five games and Embiid has been on a tear as he’s amassed 76 points in his last two games. It wouldn’t surprise me if the 76ers were able to pull off the minor upset at home, but with the line so short, I’d rather go with the Jazz to stay hot with another win and cover here.
