The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers meet Wednesday in game 6 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the Staples Center. The Suns will advance to their first NBA Finals since the 1992-93 season with a victory here. The Clippers need a win to save their season and force a game seven on Friday.
The Phoenix Suns are averaging 107.5 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 101.8 points on 43 percent shooting. Devin Booker is averaging 27.3 points and 4.8 assists while Chris Paul is averaging 16.3 points and 3.8 rebounds. Deandre Ayton is the third double-digit scorer and Mikal Bridges is grabbing 4.5 rebounds. The Phoenix Suns are shooting 36.1 percent from beyond the arc and 87 percent from the free throw line. The Phoenix Suns are allowing 32.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.9 rebounds per game.
The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 112.1 points on 48 percent shooting and allowing 106.3 points on 45.4 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 30.4 points and 7.7 rebounds while Paul George is averaging 27.2 points and 9.7 rebounds. Reggie Jackson is the third double-digit scorer and Marcus Morris Sr. is grabbing four rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers are shooting 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 82.6 percent from the free throw line. The Los Angeles Clippers are allowing 38.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 41.7 rebounds per game.
The Suns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Clippers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The under is 5-2 in Suns last 7 overall. The over is 5-1 in Clippers last 6 overall. The Suns are 2-10 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Los Angeles and 7-17 ATS in the last 24 meetings.
The Clippers continue to play their best basketball with their backs against the wall and they're fresh off possibly their best game of the series. All of a sudden, you can convince yourself of the Clippers winning this series. With that said, the Suns are still the most consistent team throughout the playoffs and are tough to bet against with these short lines. I wouldn't be shocked if the Clippers found a way to force a game seven, but I still find value with the Suns here. They've been too consistent.
