The Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks meet in game three of their best of seven Eastern Conference semifinal series in NBA action from State Farm Arena on Friday night.
The Philadelphia 76ers will look to take a series lead here after evening the set up at one win apiece following their 118-102 win over the Hawks in game two last time out. Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 40 points along with a team-high 13 rebounds for the double-double while Tobias Harris added 22 points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Seth Curry chipped in 21 points on 8 of 13 shooting with 5 threes. Kevin Huerter had 20 points on 8 of 10 shooting with 3 threes and Bogdan Bogdanovic had 14 points with 7 rebounds. Philadelphia is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning home record and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games as a road favorite while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a win. Atlanta is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 playoff games as an underdog. The over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Atlanta.
This is an interesting series as we’ve seen the highs and lows from both sides in the first two games and from a total perspective we’ve seen the same as well. With that said, I think we see a similar game to game two instead of the shootout that we saw in game one as I think this could end up being a game where the first to 110 wins if we even get to that point. I think this is going to be a war of attrition in game three so give me the under here.
