It’s another nice slate of NBA games on Wednesday with nine games taking place. Let’s look at a breakdown of each games, and also look at a free pick to make your night filled with winners.
Boston Celtics at Orlando Magic
The Celtics lost to the Trail Blazers on Sunday 129-119. The Magic defeated the Pistons 119-112 Monday. The Celtics defense seemed to have finally figured it out but the last few games it hasn’t been as good. The lack of defense is going to keep the Magic in this game and that will be the difference. Back the Magic against the spread.
Play: Magic ATS
Portland Trail Blazers at Cleveland Cavaliers
The Trail Blazers were victorious over the Celtics on Sunday 129-119. The Cavaliers lost to the Suns 134-118 yesterday. The Portland Trail Blazers have been involved in a lot of high scoring affairs and they don’t play a whole lot of defense. The Cavaliers defense is going to struggle in this game and both teams will run up the score. Back the over.
Play: Over
Phoenix Suns at Atlanta Hawks
The Suns beat the Cavs 134-118 Tuesday. The Hawks beat the Trail Blazers on Monday 123-114.The Suns are currently the best team in the NBA and even though the Hawks won their last game, I don’t think they are going to find a whole lot of success in this one. Look for the Suns defense to be the difference as they cover their spread.
Play: Suns ATS
Sacramento Kings at Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers have rested legs coming into this game and that should be enough to be the difference. Two games ago against the Houston Rockets, the Pacers put up 152 points and with the Kings having tired legs, they aren’t going to be able to keep up in this game. Back the Pacers against the spread.
Play Pacers ATS
Philadelphia 76ers at Houston Rockets
The 76ers defeated the Bulls 106-94 on Monday. The Rockets lost to the Knicks on Sunday 122-97.This is a Rockets team that isn't quitting, but the problem is they just aren’t very talented and that has really hurt their chances at being competitive. Joel Embiid is going to have another big game and that will be the difference as Philadelphia wins this game in blowout fashion.
Play: 76ers ATS
Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves
The Grizzlies were defeated by the Knicks on Monday 118-104 on Monday. The Timberwolves lost in overtime to the Pelicans on Saturday 140-136. The Timberwolves were hot before losing that last game against the Pelicans but they will get back on the right track in this game. Look for another big game from Anthony Edwards and Towns which will pace the team. Back the Timberwolves.
Play: Timberwolves ATS
Washington Wizards at Milwaukee Bucks
The Wizards defeated the Pacers on Monday, 154-141. The Bucks seem to be also be hitting their stride at the right time and the offense has been the difference. Even on the second night of a back to back, both teams the Bucks are going to have no issues running up the score. Back the over.
Play: Wizards ATS
New York Knicks at Denver Nuggets
The Knicks defeated the Grizzlies on Monday 118-104. The Nuggets lost to the Lakers 93-89 the same day. Everyone seems to be waiting for the Kincks to fall off, but it just hasn’t happened. The Nuggets struggled to score in the last game and the Knicks will take advantage and that will be the difference in this game.Back the Knicks against the spread.
Play: Knicks ATS
San Antonio Spurs at Utah Jazz
The Spurs lost to the Jazz on Monday by a final score of 110-99. I really don’t expect much difference in this game as the Spurs will struggle to score and that will let them down. I also expect the Jazz’s offense to find even more success and the Jazz will cover this spread.
Play: Jazz ATS
