The Phoenix Suns play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been a little inconsistent lately as they've lost four of their last six games, but they are coming into this game with plenty of confidence after dismantling the Grizzlies in a 124-97 home win on Monday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 25 points, eight rebounds and three assists, Montrezl Harrell added 22 points on nine of 11 shooting while Marcus Morris Sr chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Clippers shot 50 percent from the field and 16 of 37 from the 3-point line, but this game was over before the second quarter as the Clippers had already put the game to bed after outscoring the Grizzlies by 40-14 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been a team on the rise lately as they've won three of their last four games and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after blowing past the Jazz in a 131-111 road win on Monday. Devin Booker led the team with 24 points and 10 assists, Ricky Rubio added 22 points with 11 assists and seven steals, Kelly Oubre Jr. added 18 points while DeAndre Ayton chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Suns shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 12 of 20 from the 3-point line as they fell behind by eight points early, before dominating the rest of the game to finish in a blowout.

Looking at the betting trends, the Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win, 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games against a team with a home record below .400 and 27-13 ATS in their last 40 games as a road favorite. The Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600 and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in Phoenix and the Clippers are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall.

The Clippers reminded us how good they can be when they put it all together as the Grizzlies found out on Monday, but the Suns have been improving over their last four games and will be full of confidence after routing the Jazz on Monday. The Clippers are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and the Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, so I'm taking the Clippers to get the win and cover with the line being reasonable.
