The Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies meet Thursday in NBA action at the Visa Athletic Center.
The Milwaukee Bucks could use a win here after losing seven of their last 10 games. The Milwaukee Bucks are averaging 118.9 points on 47.8 percent shooting and allowing 108.3 points on 41.3 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.8 points and 13.7 rebounds while Khris Middleton is averaging 21.1 points and 6.2 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe is the third double-digit scorer and Brook Lopez is grabbing 4.6 rebounds. The Milwaukee Bucks are shooting 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 74.4 percent from the free throw line. The Milwaukee Bucks are allowing 35.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 51.8 rebounds per game.
The Memphis Grizzlies also need a win here after losing eight of their last 10 games. The Memphis Grizzlies are averaging 112.6 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 113.7 points on 45 percent shooting. Ja Morant is averaging 17.8 points and 7.2 assists while Jaren Jackson Jr. is averaging 17.4 points and 4.6 rebounds. Dillon Brooks is the third double-digit scorer and Jonas Valanciunas is grabbing 11.2 rebounds. The Memphis Grizzlies are shooting 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 76.3 percent from the free throw line. The Memphis Grizzlies are allowing 36.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 46.5 rebounds per game.
The Bucks are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Memphis and 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The over is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for this contest, but I'm not sure it matters. The Bucks are a deep team that is capable of winning games without their star, and they're expected to have Eric Bledsoe for this game which certainly helps. The Memphis Grizzlies look like a young team that checked out a long time ago, and it's hard to get motivated for a contest when your bags are packed the second the game is finished. The Grizzlies have had little betting value for a while now and have played with little life this whole tournament.
Give me the Bucks and the small number.
