The Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers meet Tuesday in NBA action at the Visa Athletic Center.
The Phoenix Suns look to keep the ball rolling while building on their six-game winning streak. The Phoenix Suns are averaging 113.2 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 113.5 points on 47.2 percent shooting. Devin Booker is averaging 26.4 points and 6.6 assists while Deandre Ayton is averaging 18.9 points and 11.7 rebounds. Kelly Oubre Jr. is the third double-digit scorer and Ricky Rubio is dishing 8.7 assists. The Phoenix Suns are shooting 35.7 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free throw line. The Phoenix Suns are allowing 36.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43.5 rebounds per game.
The Philadelphia 76ers look for a statement win after splitting their last 10 games. The Philadelphia 76ers are averaging 110.2 points on 46.6 percent shooting and allowing 108 points on 46.2 percent shooting. Joel Embiid is averaging 23.6 points and 11.8 rebounds while Tobias Harris is averaging 19.6 points and 6.9 rebounds. Ben Simmons is the third double-digit scorer and Josh Richardson is dishing three assists. The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free throw line. The Philadelphia 76ers are allowing 35.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.5 rebounds per game.
The Suns are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia. The over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia and 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
The Phoenix Suns remain the only undefeated team in the bubble and need to keep winning to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Philadelphia 76ers weren't playing well when completely healthy, and now they'll play this game without Embiid and Simmons. On paper the Suns should win this game comfortably, but the Suns aren't used to blowing teams out, and the 76ers still have some dogs on their roster in Josh Richardson and others who continue to do just enough to hang around. I'm not just laying anything with the Suns because they're finally playing well.
I'd take the 76ers and the points if forced to pick, but this is a game I'd pass on personally.
