The San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers face off on Tuesday in their last game before the start of the season again The Spurs and Pacers faced off on one time so far this season and the Pacers came away with a 116-111 victory.
The San Antonio Spurs have played two games so far inside the bubble and in each of the games they have struggled. To start the restart the Spurs struggled against the Milwaukee Bucks losing 113-92. In the second game it was much of the same with the defense really struggled. In that game against the Brooklyn Nets the offense was strong putting up 119 points, but the defense really let them down putting up 124 points.
In that last game the Spurs offense was led by Derrick White who put up 22 points who put up three points. Jakob Poettl was also really strong for the team putting up 12 points and 11 rebounds. If Poettl can continue to play well that is going to be strong for the Spurs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Pacers who got some bad news a few days back with Domantas Sabonis. So far inside the bubble the Pacers have played the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks and both of those games they were able to come away with a win. In the Pacers, last game against the Mavericks the offense was strong putting up 118 points and even though the defense wasn’t great they were still able to come away with a seven-point victory.
In that game the Pacers were led by T.J. Warren who put up 20 points, six rebounds, and one assist. Malcolm Brogdon was also strong for the team putting up 17 points and seven rebounds.
The Spurs haven’t looked good and their defense is going to struggle against the Pacers offense. In this game the Pacers are going to run up the score and the Spurs aren’t going to be able to keep up. Back the Pacers to win this game and cover the spread. It's only an exhibition but this is a strong play.
