Sideline Cancer is a team made up of players from all over the country who have a couple of goals, to win the tournament, and raise some awareness about cancer. Sideline Cancer has played three games so far in this tournament and outside of the first game, they have been pretty dominating.
In the quarterfinals, it was the defense that was the difference against Boeheim's Army. Sideline Cancer only gave up 48 points in that game, enough to win by 17 points. In the last game, Maurice Creek was the star of the show putting up 22 points, eight rebounds, and one assist.
Marcus Keene who was a standout at Central Michigan was also strong putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.
Overseas Elite had won four straight championships before not winning the championship last season. This roster looks a bit different, but they are still as talented. One of the big additions brought in before this tournament was bringing in Joe Johnson.
Overseas Elite won their first game of the tournament over Armored Athlete 76-70. There was a little breathing room, but the next game was even better. In the quarterfinals, Overseas Elite quarterfinal game was against Herd That and they didn’t really have much issue in that game. In that game, Overseas Elite scored 93 points. The star of the show was Joe Johnson who put up 35 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Frank Session is also one of the best players on this team. In the last game Session put up 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Sideline Cancer has looked impressive up to this point, but they are going to struggle in this game. Herd That had looked impressive before running into Overseas Elite also, but we know how that turned out. Joe Johnson is going to be too much in this game, and that will lead to a win and a cover of the spread.
