The Milwaukee Bucks play host to the Orlando Magic at the Fiserv Forum on Monday night.
The Orlando Magic have been on a nice run lately as they've won five of their last six games and they will be looking to build on their current five-game win streak after sneaking past the Cavaliers in a 93-87 road win on Friday. Terrence Ross led the team in scoring with 21 points off the bench, Evan Fournier added 18 points while Aaron Gordon chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Magic shot 39 percent from the field and nine of 26 from the 3-point line as they really had to battle against the lowly Cavaliers who were without Kevin Love. Nikola Vucevic missed his eighth straight game with a right ankle sprain and remains without a timetable for his return.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on fire lately as they're coming into this one looking to build on a current 14-game win streak after making light work of the Clippers in a 119-91 home win on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 27 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, Khris Middleton added 17 points with five assists while Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 10 points and five assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 36 from the 3-point line, but they were locked in defensively as they held the Clippers to just 15 points in the first quarter, before putting the game out of reach in the third quarter where they held the Clippers to just 19 points.
Looking at the betting trends, the Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team above .600. The Bucks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on two day's rest, 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a win and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Milwaukee and the Magic are 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Magic have really started to turn their season around with their current win streak but it's a tall order to keep that going against this red-hot Bucks team. The Magic are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team above .600 and I think that trend continues here as I don't see them being able to score enough points against this determined Bucks team at home.
