The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Washington Wizards at the Staples Center on Sunday night.

The Washington Wizards have been in decent shape lately as they've split their last eight games, but they will be hoping to bounce back after getting blown out by the Lakers in a 125-103 road loss on Friday. Bradley Beal led the team with 18 points and nine assists, Rui Hachimura added 16 points with eight rebounds while Ish Smith and Jordan McRae each scored 13 points. As a team, the Wizards shot just 39 percent from the field and 10 of 37 from the 3-point line but the writing was on the wall early as the Wizards were already down 21 at halftime after allowing 70 points in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been on a tear lately as they were riding a seven-game win streak before getting stopped by the slumping Spurs in a 107-97 road loss on Friday. Kawhi Leonard led the team with 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, Jeff Green added 16 points while Montrezl Harrell chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Clippers shot just 39 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line, but they were always in trouble after managing just 18 points in the penultimate third quarter. Paul George shot just two of 11 for his five points while Leonard shot just eight of 23 from the field.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 road games, 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 16-7 ATS in their last 23 against the Western Conference. The Clippers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games, 7-2 ATS in their last nine games following a loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 6-0 in the last six meetings in LA, the Wizards are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Wizards are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in LA.

The Clippers were red-hot before getting stopped by the Spurs on Friday while the Wizards were starting to turn things around before getting thrashed by the league-leading Lakers. It's hard to see anything but an easy win for the Clippers who are coming off a rare loss, but the Wizards are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 road games. I like the Clippers to get the win here assuming they're not resting anyone, but this seems like too many free points to give this Wizards team.
