The NASCAR Xfinity Series will run race 2 in the round of 8 at the Kansas Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the Kansas Lottery 300. Kansas is a 1.5-mile oval, 200 laps will make up the advertised 300-mile distance on Saturday afternoon. The top 4 drivers in the 2021 standings are in close competition now with the 5th and 6th place drivers on their heels. Winning at Kansas would secure a place in the final 4 coming at Phoenix in a few weeks.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Kansas Lottery 300.
Austin Cindric +350- Cindric comes into Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 starting from the 2nd position after a nice 5th place finish at Texas one week ago. Cindric has 5 wins on the 2021 Xfinity Series circuit with 19 top 5 finishes. Looking to keep the momentum going here in the playoffs, Cindric will look to better a 28th place effort in the 2020 Xfinity race here at Kansas. A win guarantees a birth in the final round of the playoffs at Phoenix in 2 weeks. Cindric should be very strong here at Kansas.
Ty Gibbs +350- Ty will begin Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 from the 10th position. First trip for Ty Gibbs to the Kansas Speedway in the Xfinity Series car but on the positive note led the last 20 laps at Charlotte in May to pick up a win on a 1.5-mile oval. Ty had a so-so 11th place finish at Las Vegas in the Xfinity Series back on September 25th and last week John Hunter Nemechek brought the #54 to victory lane at Texas. Look for Gibbs to build for 2022 and have a great run on Saturday afternoon.
Justin Allgaier +500- Allgaier take the green flag for Saturday’s Kansas Lotter 300 from the 3rd position. Allgaier has plenty Xfinity Series experience here at the Kansas Speedway and in 11 career starts has 8 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5 finishes but no wins. Allgaier is only 4 points above the cutline into the Final Round at Phoenix in 2 weeks so not only does a win help but also stage points can make the difference. Look for Allgaier to be in contention to grab that first Xfinity victory at Kansas on Saturday.
Daniel Hemric +700- Hemric will start from the pole position on Saturday afternoon for the Kansas Lottery 300. Hemric comes off a solid 2nd place performance at Texas one week ago after leading 55 of the 200 laps reeling off 4 top 5 finishes over the last 4 starts. Hemric started 3rd and finished 2nd in the Xfinity race held at Kansas in 2020. Daniel is 2 points below the cutline to get into the final round of the Xfinity Series Playoffs at Phoenix and heads to successful track at Kansas. Hemric at a nice value here on Saturday afternoon, be very considerate.
Justin Haley +1800- Haley will fire off from the 6th position on Saturday afternoon for the Kansas Lottery 300. Haley currently sits behind Daniel Hemric in the 6th position in the playoff point standing, 6 points below the cutline. In 3 career Xfinity Series races at Kansas, Justin has 3 top 10 finishes including a top 5 finish that came in 2020 where he came home 4th. Martinsville is next week for the Xfinity Series and Kansas is the better track for Justin Haley, a win would punch a ticket for Phoenix. Take a shot here on the longshot in Haley at Kansas on Saturday afternoon.
