In 16 races on the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series season, John has 9 top 5 finishes including 5 victories. John finished 3rd at the Atlanta Motor Speedway back in March after leading 21 of the 130 laps. John led 65 of the 147 laps at the first Darlington Truck race of 2021 back in May and ended up with an 8th place finish. Look for John to be up front on Sunday afternoon.
Sheldon Creed +450- Sheldon will lead the field the green flag from the pole position on Saturday afternoon at the Darlington Raceway. Creed led 142 of the 163 laps at Gateway 2 weeks ago to pick up a dominating win and secure a spot into the Round of 8 of the 2021 playoffs. Sheldon finished 5th at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March and won the May Truck Series event here at Darlington. With the best starting track position on Sunday afternoon, look for Sheldon to take off if the team hits the set up off the trailer.
Austin Hill +700- Austin Hill will roll off from the 7th starting spot for the Truck Series race on Sunday afternoon at the Darlington Raceway. Austin had a 3rd place finish at Darlington in the 2020 Truck Series season, along with top 10 finishes at Homestead and Atlanta in 2020 to complement. Austin beat out John Hunter Nemechek at Atlanta here in 2021 to finish 2nd behind Kyle Busch in a solid run. Hill finished a disappointing 13th at Darlington in May but did have a fast truck coming away with the 4th best driver rating of 112.9. Look for Hill to rebound nicely on Sunday afternoon.
Ben Rhodes +1000- Rhodes will begin Sunday’s Truck Series event on the front row in the 2nd position at the Darlington Raceway. 2021 has been a roller coaster of a ride for Ben Rhodes and team. Rhodes started 4th and finished 2nd at the Truck Series event back in May of 2021. With 6 top 5 finishes and 2 wins through 16 starts on the 2021 Truck Series season, Rhodes will need to maintain the awesome track position from the drop of the green flag. Nice value play here on Ben Rhodes for Sunday’s Truck Series race.
Carson Hocevar +2200– Carson will fire off from the 3rd starting spot on Sunday afternoon in the Truck Series event at Darlington. On the 2021 Truck Series season, Carson has 6 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5 finishes and most notably the 3rd place finish here at Darlington in the Truck Series back in May of this year. Carson is trending up over the last 2 Truck Series events after a mid-summer slump. Nice long shot to sprinkle some action in and great starting spot makes Hocevar the longshot of the week.
