2021 Credit Karma 250 7/10/21 NASCAR Xfinity Series Picks, Odds, and Prediction
The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon to do battle in the Credit Karma 250. Atlanta is a 1.5-mile oval with wide turns and a surface that is now 24 years old and very rough. Atlanta is the most abrasive on the Goodyear tires of any track on the Xfinity circuit. Saturday’s race will consist of 163 laps to make up the 250-mile advertised distance.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Credit Karma 250.
Kyle Busch -140- Kyle will begin Saturday’s Credit Karma 250 from the pole position in his final Xfinity race of 2021. Kyle has won all 4 Xfinity races competed in 2021, leading 256 of the 451 laps run. Busch has 101 career victories in the Xfinity Series over 361 starts. Expect Kyle to set sail through the first stage of Saturday’s Credit Karma 250 and will be tough to beat here at Atlanta.
Justin Allgaier +700- Allgaier will fire off alongside Justin Haley from the 8th position on Saturday afternoon for the Credit Karma 250. 17 starts on the season to date for Justin in the Xfinity Series and has come away 7 top 5 finishes and 2 wins. Justin won the Xfinity race at Atlanta in March of this year, leading 47 of the 163 laps to take the checkers. Justin has 11 career Xfinity starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway with 7 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5s and the win. Allgaier will be one to show up Kyle Busch.
Austin Cindric +900- Cindric comes into Saturday’s Credit Karma 250 starting from the 4th position after a nice 8th place finish at Road America one week ago. Cindric has 3 wins on the 2021 Xfinity Series circuit with 10 top 5 finishes. Looking to keep the momentum going, especially after a sub-par 13th place finish here at Atlanta in the Xfinity series back in March. Lately, Cindric has been good race / bad race and comes into Saturday’s event looking for that 1st top 5 finish at Atlanta. Nice value play on Cindric.
A.J. Allmendinger +1000- A.J. take the green flag for Saturday’s Credit Karma 250 from the 3rd position. Allmendinger has plenty Cup Series experience here at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. A.J. has 13 Cup Series starts at Atlanta in addition to 2 Xfinity Series starts with 2 top 5 finishes including a win in 2020. Allemdinger will do a great job taking care of the tires and starting in the 3rd position will be to advantage to avoid racing aggressively in the first stage.
Brandon Jones +1800- Jones will start from the 13th position on Saturday afternoon for the Credit Karma 250. Jones comes off a 19th place performance at Road America one week ago after reeling off 5 top 10 finishes in a row including 2 top 5 finishes. Brandon had a problem back in the March Xfinity race at Atlanta but prior had 2 top 10 finishes in 2019 and 2020. Atlanta Motor Speedway is the home track for Brandon Jones and in front of friends and family will bounce back. Nice long shot price here on Jones and the Joe Gibbs team.
