The NASCAR Xfinity Series makes way back to the Nashville Superspeedway for the first time in a decade to do battle in the Tennessee Lottery 250 on Saturday afternoon. Nashville is a concrete 1.333-mile cookie cutter racetrack that draws good comparisons to Kansas Speedway, Kentucky Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Saturday’s race will consist of 188 laps to make up the 250-mile advertised distance.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Tennessee Lottery 250.
Kyle Busch -134- Busch will hop down to the Xfinity Series to make a start for Joe Gibbs race team in the #54 car on Saturday afternoon. Reddick will have to qualify the machine on time to make the race on Saturday which should come at no problem. Kyle has the most experience in the Xfinity Series at Nashville Superspeedway with 10 starts in the Xfinity Series. Kyle has 5 top 10 finishes including 4 top 5 finishes and a victory at Nashville in the Xfinity Series. With practice and qualifying prior to the race on Saturday, Kyle will be a tough customer to beat on Saturday.
Justin Allgaier +550- Allgaier is currently 5th in the Xfinity Series standings with 7 top 10 finishes including 5 top 5 finishes and 2 victories though 14 races in 2021. Allgaier has 6 Xfinity starts at Nashville with 3 top 5 finishes. Allgaier has been solid on the 1.5-mile tracks in 2021 with a win at Atlanta, 11 place finish at Charlotte and a 2nd place finish at Texas one week ago. Allgaier’s experience is invaluable heading into to Nashville, gives him a leg up on the competition and a good shot at Kyle Busch.
Austin Cindric +550- Cindric comes into Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250 atop the Xfinity Series point standings currently. Through 14 races in 2021 in Xfinity competition, Cindric has 11 top 10 finishes 10 of those are top 5 finishes with 3 victories. Saturday will mark Cindric’s first time racing at the Nashville Superspeedway and at Kentucky Speedway that compares to Nashville has 4 Xfinity starts including 2 wins. With a 2nd place finish in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway and a 3rd at Texas one week ago, Cindric will be in contention on Saturday.
Tyler Reddick +1400- Reddick will hop down to the Xfinity Series to make a start for Jordan Anderson’s race team in the #31 car on Saturday afternoon. Reddick will have to qualify the machine on time to make the race on Saturday which should come at no problem. Reddick is another of many that have not raced at Nashville Superspeedway to date. Reddick has 2 top 10 finishes in the Xfinity Series on the 2021 season with the Jordan Anderson Racing #31 team, including the 5th place finish at Charlotte in May. Reddick will be great dark horse option for Saturday’s race.
Brandon Jones +2500- Jones heads into Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250 sitting 8th in the Xfinity Series standings with 8 top 10 finishes including 7 top 5 finishes on the season. Brandon will make his first career Xfinity start at the Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon and with 6 career starts at Kansas Speedway has 4 top 10 finishes including 2 victories. 2021 has been a roller coaster ride for Jones but over the last 3 Xfinity Series races has 3 top 10 finishes including a 5th at Texas one week ago. Nice longshot price on a Joe Gibbs car, consider Brandon on Saturday afternoon.
