The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series makes way to the Texas Motor Speedway for the SpeedyCash.com 220 on Friday night. Texas Motor Speedway’s oval configuration is 1.5-miles in length with 24 degrees of banking in the turns and makes for fast racing. Saturday’s race will consist of 147 laps to make up the 220-mile advertised distance. Expect for restarts to be crazy towards the end of the race making the Truck Series race very exciting.

Here are a few drivers to consider for the SpeedyCash.com 220.

John Hunter Nemechek +275- John Hunter currently leads the point standings in the 2021 Truck Series, with 8 top 10 finishes on the season including 6 top 5 finishes and 3 victories. Heading to Texas on Saturday, John Hunter will start on the pole, last race leading 71 of the 134 laps at Charlotte on the way to claiming that 3rd win on the season. The best track position for the best equipment has the outright favorite with great chances to win on Saturday afternoon, be sure to take Nemechek into consideration.

Chase Elliott +350- Chase Elliott will come down from the Cup Series to have some fun in Niece Motorsports #24 truck on Saturday afternoon and will have to start towards the back in the 22nd position. With some patience and avoiding trouble, Elliott should crack the top 5 possibly before the end of stage 1. In the 2020 Truck Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chase led 47 of the 134 laps to win in the Niece Motorsports #24 and with the Cup Series experience will be a nice challenger to John Hunter on Saturday.

Austin Hill +700- Hill rides into Satruday’s SpeedyCash.com 220 sitting 3rd in the 2021 Truck Series standings. Austin has 7 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5 finishes to date in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2021, after starting off slow at Daytona back in February. Hill has top 10 finishes at all 4 of the 1.5-mile tracks on the season including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Kansas, and Charlotte. Austin will roll off from the 5th starting spot on Saturday afternoon and has 2 top 5 finishes in 9 career starts at Texas. Nice value play here on Austin Hill.

Ben Rhodes +1100- Rhodes will roll off from the 2nd position for Saturday’s SpeedyCash.com 220 at the Texas Motor Speedway. Solid season for Rhodes to date in the Truck Series with 9 top 10 finishes including 5 top 5 finishes and 2 wins. Rhodes once again finished in the top 3 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the most recent Truck Series event and now heading to a similar track in Texas has great starting track position on Saturday. Look for Ben to hang in the top 5 another value play.

Ross Chastain +1200– Like Chase Elliott, Ross Chastain will come down to race the #45 truck for Niece Motorsports on Saturday afternoon in the SpeedyCash.com 220. Chastain will fire off from the 24th position and will need to follow Chase Elliott up to the front. Chastain has 2 starts for Niece Motorsports in the Truck Series on the 2021 season finishing 7th at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in March and followed up with a 2nd place effort at Kansas in May. Great price on a Cup Series regular in Chastain for Saturday’s race, be sure to put some action in.
