The NASCAR Xfinity Series will make way to the Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the Alsco Uniforms 250. Texas is a 1.5-mile quad oval and Saturday’s Xfinity even will consist of 167 laps to make up the advertised 250-mile distance. Texas is similar to sister track Charlotte Motor Speedway with the biggest difference is the banking in turns 1&2 are lower than in turns 3&4 and setups can be tricky.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Alsco Uniforms 250.
Kyle Busch -118- Kyle will make start number 2 in the Xfinity Series on Saturday afternoon for the Alsco Uniforms 250. Kyle will roll off from the 14th starting spot on Saturday afternoon at Texas and within the first few laps should be close to the top 5. Kyle made the first Xfinity start of 2021 on the road course COTA leading 35 of the 46 laps to claim victory. Busch and team led the final 15 laps at Texas in 2020 to win but then was disqualified for failing post-race inspection. Busch has a minus favorite however is no surprise, Gibbs and team are dialed in with the #54 car and Kyle will definitely be in the hunt on Saturday afternoon.
Austin Cindric +550- Cindric comes into Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 atop the Xfinity Series point standings currently. Through 13 races in 2021 in Xfinity competition, Cindric has 10 top 10 finishes 9 of those are top 5 finishes with 3 victories. Austin will begin Saturday’s race from the 2nd row in the 4th starting spot. In 6 career starts at Texas, Austin has come home with 5 top 10 finishes including 4 top 5s and 1 win. Austin will be one of the few drivers that can challenge Kyle Busch on Saturday and comes with some value in the price.
Noah Gragson +1000- 2021 has been a less than desirable season for Noah and the crew at JR Motorsports, exiting 4 races due to crashes and 2 for engine issues. Noah will have to start from the 30th spot on Saturday afternoon and will have to be patient on the march to the front. 5th place finish at Las Vegas and a 4th place effort at Atlanta have been bright spots for Noah and by all means has a top 5 car currently. Noah in desperate need of a great finish could end up in victory lane on Saturday and is worth a sprinkle.
Harrison Burton +1100- Burton comes into Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 4th in the Xfinity Series points currently. On the 2021 season, Hemric has 9 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5 finishes. Hemric finished 3rd at the Charlotte Motor Speedway 2 races back and had a 3rd place finish at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in March on the season. After a crash at Mid-Ohio in last week’s Xfinity Series race Burton will have to start 18th and will be looking for a bounce back. Good new Harrison has 3 top 10 finishes in 3 Xfinity starts at Texas including 1 victory.
Justin Allgaier +1300- Allgaier will fire off from the 16th position for Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 at Texas. In 21 career Xfinity starts at Texas, Justin has 10 top 10 finishes including 2 top 5s. Justin has 2 victories in 2021 in the Xfinity Series at Atlanta and Darlington. Poor 35th place effort last week at Mid-Ohio puts Justin as another in a bounce back spot and no place better to go than the Texas Motor Speedway. Sprinkle some action here on Allgaier on Saturday afternoon in the Alsco Uniforms 250.
