2021 Alsco Uniforms 300 5/29/21 NASCAR Xfinity Series Picks, Odds, and Prediction
The NASCAR Xfinity Series makes does battle in the back yard at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the Alsco Uniforms 300. Charlotte is a 1.5-mile quad oval and Saturday’s Xfinity even will consist of 200 laps to make up the advertised 300-mile distance. The 2020 Xfinity race at Charlotte featured 11 cautions for 53 laps, so expect some excitement on Saturday afternoon.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Alsco Uniforms 300.
Austin Cindric +400- Cindric comes into Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300 atop the Xfinity Series point standings currently. Through 11 races in 2021 in Xfinity competition, Cindric has 9 top 10 finishes 8 of those are top 5 finishes with 3 victories. Austin started 6th and finished 3rd place in the 2020 Alsco Uniforms 300 here at Charlotte leading 30 laps. The only blemish for Cindric on the 2021 Xfinity season came at Darlington 3 races ago where he was involved in a crash. Cindric followed up the crash at Darlington by winning at Dover one week later. Look to see Cindric and team atop the leaderboard on Saturday.
Ty Gibbs +500- Gibbs to make the first career Xfinity start at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Gibbs is not racing full-time in 2021 for the JGR team and Saturday at Charlotte for the Xfinity race will mark the first time Gibbs has raced on a 1.5-mile oval. Ty won his first career Xfinity race ever at the Daytona Road Course back in February and on the season has 4 top 5 finishes in 5 starts. Gibbs in one of the best prepared cars, look for Ty to be in the top 5 by the final stage.
Justin Allgaier +900- Allgaier is currently 5th in the Xfinity Series standings with 6 top 10 finishes including 4 top 5 finishes and 2 victories though 11 races in 2021. Over the last 7 races on the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval configuration in the Xfinity Series, Allgaier has 4 top 10 finishes including 3 top 5 finishes. After a 14th place in Las Vegas earlier on the Xfinity schedule in 2021, Justin followed up with a victory at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Over the last 3 Xfinity races, Allgaier has a win and two 3rd place finishes. Look out for Justin and team here on Saturday afternoon.
Daniel Hemric +900- Hemric comes into Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300 4th in the Xfinity Series points currently. On the 2021 season, Hemric has 8 top 10 finishes including 5 top 5 finishes. Hemric finished 2nd at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier in the season and finished 9 at Atlanta back in the Xfinity race in March. Hemric’s move to Joe Gibbs Racing has proven very well for his career so far and Saturday will be another chance for Hemric to get to victory lane.
Tyler Reddick +1200- Reddick will hop down to the Xfinity Series to make a start for Jordan Anderson’s race team in the #31 car on Saturday afternoon. Reddick will have to qualify the machine on time to make the race on Saturday which should come at no problem. Reddick won the 2019 Charlotte Xfinity race on the oval configuration for Childress when racing full-time in the Xfinity Series. Even though Reddick will not be in the best equipment for Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 300, still worth a sprinkle of action getting a Cup Series regular at the big number.
