The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series head to the Darlington on Friday night for LiftKit4Less.com 200. Friday’s race at Darlington will be 147 laps to make up the advertised 200-mile distance for the Truck Series. Darlington brings the nostalgia out, is one of the roughest surfaces NASCAR races on. Darlington is an egg-shaped oval measuring in at 1.366-mile, one grove of racing makes the track one of the most unique on the circuit.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the LiftKit4Less.com 200.
John Hunter Nemechek +225- John Hunter will fire off from the pole position on Friday evening for the Truck Series event at the Darlington Raceway. In 7 races on the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series season, John has 5 top 5 finishes including 2 victories both coming against boss man Kyle Busch. John finished 3rd at the Atlanta Motor Speedway back in March after leading 21 of the 130 laps. Kyle Busch will not be in the field for Friday’s Truck Series race at the Darlington Raceway, expect John to be the class of the field.
Austin Hill +500- Austin Hill will roll off from the 2nd starting spot for the LiftKit4Less.com 200 on Friday night at the Darlington Raceway. Austin had a 3rd place finish at Darlington in the 2020 Truck Series season, along with top 10 finishes at Homestead and Atlanta in 2020 to complement. Austin beat out John Hunter Nemechek at Atlanta here in 2021 to finish 2nd behind Kyle Busch in a solid run. Hill will be going for a 6th consecutive top 10 finish on Friday night and has everything available to pick up the victory at Darlington.
Sheldon Creed +550- Sheldon will take the green flag from the 15th starting spot on Friday night at the Darlington Raceway. Creed led 41 laps at Kansas last week only to finish 32nd 4 laps behind after an issue. Sheldon finished 5th at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March which is promising, considering in 2020 failed to finish top 10 at Darlington, Homestead, or Atlanta. Friday will be a great rebound spot for Sheldon and team, be on the lookout for the team to move up front fast.
Ben Rhodes +850- Rhodes will begin Friday’s Truck Series event from the 2nd row in the 4th position at the Darlington Raceway. 2021 has been a roller coaster of a ride for Ben Rhodes and team. Rhodes has one NASCAR Truck Series start here at the Darlington Raceway and he won the race back last season. Ben has 3 top finishes in a row, including a top 5 finish. Great starting track position here for Ben Rhodes and decent value heading into throwback weekend at the Darlington Raceway.
Grant Enfinger +1100– Enfinger will be back in the #98 truck on Friday night at the Darlington Raceway after finishing 17th for Codie Rorhbaugh’s team at Kansas last week. Now in a little better equipment, Enfinger will fire off from the 17th starting spot on Friday and will have to do some work in the shorter distanced race. Grant finished 4th at Darlington in the 2020 Truck Series event and picked up a victory at the Atlanta Motor Speedway as well. Grant is more than capable of positioning to the front here by the final stage, nice dark horse play for Friday night’s Truck Series race.
