The NASCAR Xfinity Series will begin the 2021 season at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300. Xfinity Series went through a good deal of turnover in the off season, most notably Chase Briscoe graduating to the Cup Series along with Ross Chastain. Saturday’s race will be 120 laps to make up the 300-mile advertised distance. Racing at Daytona is tight nit with the draft and great racing is upcoming on Saturday.
Here are a few drivers to consider for the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300.
Justin Haley +700- Haley won both Talladega races in 2020 as well as the Daytona race in August. Haley ended the 2020 season with 10 top 5 finishes and 21 top finishes. With the departure of former teammate Ross Chastain to the Cup Series, Haley steps into a lead role with the Kaulig Racing Team. Haley is a co-favorite for a big reason here at Daytona, expect Justin to be in competition for the win on Saturday afternoon.
Justin Allgaier +800- Justin begins the 11th full time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports here at Daytona on Saturday. Allgaier didn’t have a good Super Speedway season at all in 2020 with 3 crashes in the 4 races as well an engine failure at Talladega in October. Justin has been top 10 in most races at Daytona throughout his career, and 2021 could well be positive regression for Allgaier. JR Motorsports will come loaded to Daytona Saturday, so give Justin a look.
Noah Gragson +900- Gragson is the defending champion of Saturday’s race at Daytona, as he claimed victory in 2020 in style. 2 more top 10 finishes at Super Speedways in 2020 solidified Gragson has a top contender in this type of racing. Expect Gragson to make a Championship run here in 2021 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and no better way than to kick it off with a win at Daytona.
Ty Dillon +1200- With the closure of Germain Racing, Ty Dillion now has the opportunity to race with Joe Gibbs racing here at Daytona in the 54 Toyota on Saturday afternoon. Ty brings a ton of experience to the Xfinity Series on Super Speedways and in solid equipment. Major value in Ty Dillon on Saturday, be sure to give Dillon a look on Saturday.
Daniel Hemric +1600- Hemric will make a full-time debut with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series in 2021 after an incomplete season with JR Motorsports. In only 1 season in 2019 with Childress in the Cup Series, Hemric parted ways. Fresh start at Daytona for Hemric on Saturday with a team that has been around for years with solid equipment, expect Daniel to be in contention from the drop of the green flag. Great opportunity to hit a long shot on Saturday with Hemric.
