like it has a ton of fun fights. Let’s take a look at free play on each of the main card fights to make your Saturday a winning one.
Alexandre Pantoja vs Kai Asakura
Pantoja -265 / Asakura +215 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura face off on Saturday for the flyweight title and this fight should be a banger. Asakura just joined the UFC earlier this year, and there is one thing we know when he enters the octagon: he’s going to put on the show. The problem for him though, I just don’t believe the level he has fought at has been high enough, and he’s going to be tested here. Asakura wants to use the counter striking to his advantage, but Pantoja is going to avoid that and make life tough. Back Pantoja to win this fight by decision.
Shavkat Rakhmonov vs Ian Machado Garry
Rakhmonov -395 / Garry +310 // Total Rounds: 2.5
This fight was originally supposed to be Belal Muhammad against Shavkat Rakhmonov but Muhammad withdraw because of a bone infection so in has stepped Ian Machado Garry. The big question for this fight is how will they survive in the championship rounds. Garry title run during the Carge Warriors included a ton of success in those championship rounds and that is going to be the difference here. Rakhmonov is probably the better fighter, but the longer this one goes, the better the chance for Garry. There is just too much value on Garry. Back Garry on the money line.
Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov
Gane -375 / Volkov +295 // Total Rounds: 2.5
These two teams faced off in 2021, and Gane secured the easy victory. Gane already knows how to beat Volkov, and he’s going to find that success again here. If these teams wouldn’t have fought before I would probably take a flyer with Volkov, but there is no way I am fading Gane here. Volkov just isn’t going to find a way to land many strikes here, and it’s going to be Gane that will get the job done. Back Gane by decision here.
Bryce Mitchell vs Kron Gracie
Mitchell -950 / Gracie +625 // Total Rounds: 2.5
There isn’t a whole lot of value here because Bryce Mitchell is such a big favorite, but he’s going to have little issues getting the job done. Gracie’s only shot at victory is on the ground and even if the fight gets there, that’s not even guaranteed. Mitchell is a much better fighter, and he’s going to pick Gracie apart. This is going to be an easy victory. Back Mitchell by decision.
Nate Landwehr vs Doo-ho Choi
Landwehr -130 / Choi +110 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Nate Landwehr and Doo-ho Choi are both going to put on a show here, and this has all the makings off a classic slugfest. This fight really feels like it could go either way, but one way or another, this fight is going to finish in a knockout. Choi is the underdog right now, and he’s got the power to get Landwehr out of it. It’s probably better to just watch this fight as a fan, but if your betting it, bet Choi to win this fight by knockout.
