Whittaker is the better fighter, and although I believe Aliskerov is going to give him a bit of a challenge, the favorite is going to get the job done here. Aliskerov is a very technical fighter and he might give him some issues here, but Whittaker is going to still find success here. Whittaker is going to let Aliskerov hang around for a while, but as the fight goes on, Whittaker is going to find success here. Sergei Pavlovich vs Alekander Volkov
Pavlovich -245 / Volkov +200 // Total Rounds: 1.5
Pavlovich is coming off a loss where he had a shot at the title against Tom Aspinal but before that loss he had been fighting really well. Pavlovich has a ton of power and he can really land those in bunches. On the other side is Volkov who is one of the better kick boxers in the heavyweight division. These two used to be training partners and Volkov has admitted that when they sparred in the past, it usually didn’t go that well, which has to a huge concern for him. Pavlovich is going to unload a ton of punches here, and Volkov is going to have no answer. Back Pavlovich to win this fight by knockout.
Kelvin Gastelum vs Daniel Rodriguez
Gastelum -205 / Rodriguez +170 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Kelvin Gastelum is probably the big favorite because of what he has done in his past, but I am not so sure he should be this big of a favorite. Gastelum probably has the feed advantage, but Rodriguez has a gas tank, and he also can take a lot of damage. I do think Rodriguez is going to find a way to make this fight tough and he’s going to avoid some of the damage from Gastelum. It might not be the prettiest fight, but he’s going to find a way to get the job done. Back Rodriguez on the money line.
Shara Magomedov vs Antonio Trocoli
Magomedov -575 / Trocoli +425 // Total Rounds: 1.5
Antonio Trocoli is stepping in on three days notice to fight here, and he comes into this fight as a big underdog. It didn’t really matter who Shara Magomedov had to fight as a fill in, he’s going to have very little issue in this fight. Magomedov is 12-0 coming into this fight and he has won ten of those fights by knockout. Trocoli is going to have some issues here, and he will be knocked out. Back Magomedov by knockout.
Johnny Walker vs Volkan Oezdemir
Walker -112 / Oezdemir -108 // Total Rounds: 1.5
Johnny Walker has been up and down during his UFC career, but he’s going to go on a little run starting with a victory here. Walker has the power and unpredictability to find success and he’s going to get the job done here. Walker is going to use his power, and he’s going to get the job done here.
