UFC Vegas 92 takes place on Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, and this is another solid card. Let’s take a look at a free play on each of the main card fights to make your Saturday a winning one.
Edson Barboza vs Lerone Murphy
Barboza +124 / Murphy -148 // Total Rounds: 3.5
Edson Barboza has a ton of experience fighting and this will be his 30th UFC fight for him. When Barboza enters the octagon you know he’s going to put on a show, and he’s always going to be looking for the finish. Barboza has won two fights in a row and two fights ago he knocked Billy Quarantillo. On the other side of this fight is Lerone Murphy who sits with a 13-0-1 record overall and he has won each of his last five fights. Murphy’s last fight came against Josh Culibao and it was a unanimous decision victory. At times Barboza is inconsistent but this is still a huge step up in competition by Murphy. Barboza’s leg kicks are going to be a problem here for Murphy, and Barboza will pull the upset. Back Barboza on the money line.
Kalinn Williams vs Carlston Harris
Williams -120 / Harris +100 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Kalinn Williams and Carlston Harris are going to put on an exciting fight here. Harris has found success but when he has been stopped, it’s happened in the first round. Harris is a submission artist, and this is being fought in the UFC Apex which means a smaller octagon. Williams could come away with a victory in this fight, but I do really like the submission artist to really put the pressure and grind out the victory. Back Harris on the money line.
Themba Gorimbo vs Ramiz Brahimaj
Gorimbo -148 / Brahimaj +124 // Total Rounds: 1.5
This really feels like a fight that is a card filler, and one that I really don’t love. Neither of these fighters have had many big wins inside the UFC and there are better fights on the card. Themba Gorimbo is an elite wrestler and he’s going to use that to his advantage here. Brahimaj is going to really struggle here with the wrestling, and that will be the difference as Gorimbo is going to get the job done here. Back Gorimbo on the money line.
Adrian Yanez vs Vinicius Salvador
Yanez -425 / Salvador +330 // Total Rounds: 1.5
Vinicius Salvador is making the move up to the flyweight division and it’s not going to go very well for him. Adrian Yanez is an elite striker and he’s going to really put on a show here. Yanez knows he’s the better fighter but this isn’t a fight where he needs to try and get the finish in the first round. I expect he’s going to be patient in this fight, and that will be the difference as he will eventually get the finish. Back Yanez to win by finish.
Luana Pinheiro vs Angela Hill
Pinheiro +124 / Hill -148 // Total Rounds: 2.5
Angela Hill is one of my favorite fighters in the UFC and she is going to pick up another win here. Pinheiro needs to get the fight on the ground if she wants any chance in this fight, but I don’t think she is going to find success doing that. Hill is going to keep the fight on the feet and she is going to dominate it there. She won’t get the finish but she is going to pick up the win. Back Hill by decision.
Shane’s Pick Back Barboza on the money line.
