He was outstriking Santos 89-53 and in the 4th round, he was able to finish the fight by knockout. Each of his last five fights has been finished by knockout. Four have been wins by Hill and the other was him getting knocked out. Hill is averaging 6.46 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 3.51 significant strikes per minute. He wants to keep the fight on the feet and is stopping 65 percent of his opponent's takedown attempts.
Teixeira vs Hill Prediction
It’s a bit shocking that Teixeira is the underdog in this fight. He is on his home soil and is the more experienced fighter. Like Brandon Moreno, he is trying to get his title back. Hill is a good fighter, but there is no doubt going to be some nerves here. He also struggles when the fight becomes a grappling fight, and I expect he’s going to struggle with the grappling here. Teixeira just needs to avoid the knockout, and he’s going to get that done. Back Teixeira on the money line to cash.
