Brogan Walker and Juliana Miller face off on Saturday to win the women’s flyweight title in the Ultimate Fighter at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Brogan Walker comes into this fight with a 7-2 record overall and she has won three fights in a row. Earlier in her career, Walker went through a bit of a rough patch losing two fights in a row against Pearl Gonzalez and Erin Blanchfield. Each of those two losses were by unanimous decision. She followed those two losses with a victory against Emilee King and that was by a rear naked choke. To get to this championship fight, Walker has won two fights so far. Walker beat Hannah Guy by a majority decision and in the last fight, she beat Laura Gallardo by unanimous decision.
On the other side of this fight is Juliana Miller who sits with a 2-1 record overall since turning pro. Miller was a part of Grappling and at Submission Underground 28 she was able to win against Tara LaRosa by decision. In the Ultimate Fighter, Miller has defeated Claire Guthrie and Kaytlin Neil. Against Guthrie she was able to win by unanimous decision and against Neal, she was able to win by Kimura. Even though she doesn’t have a ton of pro experience she was strong during her amateur career.
Miller is elite at getting the fight to the ground and I think that’s where this fight is going to take place at. Once Miller gets to the fight to the ground, Walker is going to have no answer, and that will be the difference as she gets the job done. Look for Miller to be impressive and she is going to secure the victory. Back Miller on the money line.
