Darren Elkins and Darrick Minner face off on Saturday in a featherweight showdown in the main card of UFC on ESPN 27 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

On the other side of this fight is Darrick Miner who comes into this fight with a 26-11 record overall and coming into this fight he has won two fights in a row. Minner’s last fight was against Charles Rosa and that was a fight he won by unanimous decision. Minner’s is averaging 3.24 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 1.40 successful takedowns per minute. Minner likes to get the fight to the ground and he is averaging 3.00 takedowns every 15 minutes and he is successful 62 percent of the time.
Elkins has been the better fighter as of late, and he is going to continue that in this one. Elkins is going to get the fight to the ground, and that is going to continue in this one. Look for Elkins to pull the upset in this fight.
