In this article we will formulate a Yankees vs Giants prediction for this MLB game on Friday, March 27th at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this MLB matchup.

New York Yankees Betting Preview

The New York Yankees are 1-0 this season after they defeated the Giants by a score of 7-0 in game one. New York scored five runs in the second inning, which allowed them to coast to the easy win. The Yankees recorded 10 hits and they committed one error, while they were led by Grisham and McMahon, who both had two RBIs in the game. Fried allowed two hits and zero earned runs over 6.1 innings for the win, while Bird, Headrick, and Doval finished the shutout.

Last season, New York had a 3.91 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP and a .229 opponent batting average, while scoring 849 runs with a .251 batting average and a .332 on base percentage. Aaron Judge led the team with 53 home runs and 114 RBIs, while Trent Grisham added 34 home runs and 74 RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for New York is Cam Schlittler, who went 4-3 with a 2.96 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP over 73.0 innings pitched last season.

San Francisco Giants Betting Preview

The San Francisco Giants are 0-1 this year after they were shutout in game one by a score of 7-0 on Wednesday. San Francisco did not get a good start from Webb and they generated very little at the plate in the ugly loss. The Giants recorded just three hits and they committed one error, while they were led by Arraez, Devers, and Ramos, who all had one hit. Webb allowed nine hits and six earned runs over 5.0 innings for the loss, while Brubaker allowed one hit over 2.0 innings of relief work.

Last season, San Francisco was 10th in the MLB with a 3.82 ERA, along with a 1.30 WHIP and a .248 opponent batting average. The Giants finished 17th in the MLB with 705 runs with a .235 batting average and a .311 on base percentage. Willy Adames led SF with 30 home runs and 87 RBIs, while Matt Chapman added 21 home runs and 61 RBIs. The projected starting pitcher for the Giants is Robbie Ray, who went 11-8 with a 3.65 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over 182.1 innings pitched last year.

Yankees vs Giants Prediction

New York comes into this matchup with all of the momentum after a dominant win in game one and they will have Schlittler on the mound, who was excellent in limited action last year. San Francisco is searching for their first run of the season and they will be starting Ray, who I don’t love. I think this is another great spot for the Yankees, as Schlittler was very strong last year. Take the Yankees to win game two here.
