The Toronto Blue Jays and the Milwaukee Brewers meet Tuesday in MLB action from American Family Field. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Toronto Blue Jays vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction.
Starting Pitching Matchup
The Toronto Blue Jays will send out Yusei Kikuchi here and Kikuchi is 3-5 with a 3.48 ERA and 71 strikeouts this season. In his career, Kikuchi is 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA and 9 strikeouts against the Brewers. The Milwaukee Brewers will send out Carlos Rodriguez for his major league debut in this one.
Toronto Blue Jays Recap
The Toronto Blue Jays come into this game looking to bounce back after starting the series on the wrong foot after a 3-1 loss to the Brewers in Monday’s series opener. The loss was not what the Blue Jays wanted to start with after winning their series against Oakland over the weekend, following a split with the Orioles and a series win over the Pirates before that.
Blue Jays Starting To String Offense Together Despite Monday’s Loss
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leads the Blue Jays with 73 hits including 12 doubles, 7 home runs and 30 RBIs along with a .287 batting average and a .378 OBP. Daulton Varsho’s chipped in a team-high 10 home runs and 31 RBIs in addition to 12 doubles. Davis Schneider has a team-high 14 doubles while George Springer has a team-high 8 stolen bases. Varsho also has a team-high 57 strikeouts as well this season.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction
I’m on the Blue Jays here. Not my favorite game on the board, but the one thing about Rodriguez in the minors this season was that he struggled with control, issuing over 4 walks per 9 innings, and the Blue Jays have been a lot more disciplined as of late so I think they can generate baserunners here. Kikuchi’s been solid, he just doesn’t get the run support he needs a lot of the time and I think he does here and the Jays do enough to even the set up at one win apiece. Give me Toronto.
